Hawaii O’ Hawaii : Your Island Jewels Fair

Hawaii O’ Hawaii : Your Island Jewels Fair

The sun-kissed, wave-washed volcanic island chain that rises from the ocean floor of the Pacific is the backdrop for an epic poem of Hawai’i. The poem is written in five segments. This video presents the first.

Love in the Greater Reality

.

Enter through the gate my friend,

you’re on a path without an end.

Oh, it has bends, a center too,

and in the center there is You.

So listen to the song of life,

away from all distress and strife

and sing the longing of your heart,

make whole yourself, and live your art.

The ‘You’ in this poem refers to the greater you.

‘In the center there is You’ is not self-centered,

but Self-centered.

Words from Me to You

WORDS FROM ME TO YOU_www_001

When words pour out from me to you,

my heart intent is that they’re true.

The words begin from a pure source

then seem to travel on a course

that winds through places where they could

pick up sticks and stones and mud.

WORDS FROM ME TO YOU_www_002

It’s my intent, my heart and will

to give from waters deep and still.

Yet if you find the water’s brown

I ask that you don’t throw it down,

but hand it gently back to me,

WORDS FROM ME TO YOU_www_003

so I can filter it and see

that pure waters nourish life

and muddy waters end in strife.

May what I say be what will heal

and may it be heartfelt and real.
